The actress, now 68, and theParadiseactor, 77, may have felt sparks — but it wasn't until later that they began dating, after McRaney was cast in a guest role on Burke's hit showDesigning Women. Speaking to PEOPLE in March 2025, McRaney chalked up the success of the marriage to his wife. "Marrying Delta, that's the secret," he said of why the two have stayed together for so long. "That's it. She's the one for keeping it together. Honestly, I think one of the biggest components to a happy marriage is that you've got to marry the right person." The Mississippi native said that he and the Florida-born Burke's common backgrounds contributed to their compatibility. "I think a lot of it was just both of us being southern," he said. "We had common ground there." Of course, there were other factors at work, too. "Also, I thought she was the most drop-dead beautiful woman I'd ever seen," he added. Nearly four decades after the two met, they celebrate their 36th anniversary on May 28, 2025. See glimpses of their relationship below. As McRaney told PEOPLE in an earlier interview, the couple's romance didn't begin until they were done filming together. "I actually asked her out while we were doing the show, but I waited untilafterthe show was over to have the date," he said. "So we had a date and we had a second date, at which point I proposed to her. And she accepted. And basically, we've been together every day for 38 years." "There's something about being with the right person that makes you know that when you have a disagreement, that it is worth fighting for," McRaney told PEOPLE in an earlier interview of their marriage secret. "You may fight with the person, but you fight to keep the relationship going more than you fight with the person. That's the important thing. There is some work involved, but most of it has been an absolute joy." Read the original article onPeople

Exclusive: Lindsay Lohan Fronts Her First Old Navy Campaign

May 27, 2025
Exclusive: Lindsay Lohan Fronts Her First Old Navy CampaignNew Foto - Exclusive: Lindsay Lohan Fronts Her First Old Navy Campaign

Like any good millennial, Lindsay Lohan has an Old Navy commercial that's permanently wedged into her subconscious. That would be theDating Gameparody promoting the brand's low-rise jeans. (For some of us, it was Carrie Donovan in owlish glasses making us aware that "fashion editor" could be a job.) Now, ourSummer Issue cover starhas her very own moment sure to implant in the memory bank of Gen Alpha: she's starring as an '80s-style aerobics queen in the "Old Navy, New Moves" activewear campaign, shot by Ethan James Green, styled by Dara, and costarring Dylan Efron, Quen Blackwell, and Charo. Lohan, whose leg extension in the clip is nothing less than impressive, has many warm and fuzzy memories of back-to-school shopping at the retailer growing up. "It's such a family-friendly place," she says. "And it made fashion accessible without compromising style and comfort." SinceZac Posenbeganhis creative takeover of Gap Inc., the whole portfolio of brands has gotten a fresh coat of paint. Posen and Lohan have known each other for some time, and he even dressed her for the 2007 Met Gala. This project was "so nostalgic for me," Lohan tells ELLE, "because Zac and I have always been close. To work together in this capacity is a really nice moment for us both to have, and to see what he's doing and how great he's doing in this space is just wonderful....I always feel like life comes full circle." The sporty red set and throwback leg warmers Lohan wears in the campaign also took things full circle, back to the days when her mom did those famous Jane Fonda workout videos. "It was such a movement then, of women in the exercise space and spotlight," she says. Lohan is an activewear fan, but not necessarily a stay-in-your-gym-clothes-all-day type. She's back and forth between Dubai, L.A., and New York, and says, "Depending on where I am, that also kind of [determines] what I'm going to be [dressed] like. If I'm in L.A., everyone's in athleisure all day every day. When I'm home, I get ready in my workout clothes, do my workout, and then they're in the hamper. You know what I mean?" "But I'm a leggings girl," she says, (as if anyone who once yearned for a pair of her 6126 designs could ever forget.) "I've always been, since forever. I like to be able to have a good pair of comfortable high-waisted leggings always on hand. Especially now, having a kid, you always want to have comfort. I have days where I'm in leggings all day." She continues: "I've always been comfort-focused. If I'm not comfortable in it, I'm not going to put it on. That's always been a big thing for me. With time, maybe I've become a bit more modest. I'm not as comfortable risking certain things. But it depends. If it's a nice dinner date with my husband, I want to feel hot and look nice. And then my daywear is more casual, usually. But when I'm in New York, I like todressbecause I'm in New York." Speaking of millennial touchstones, the fashion of her '90s and 2000s films is still all over our Pinterest boards. And she is not immune to their lure. "I loved Annie's play on Chanel tweed inThe Parent Trap. That's got to be myfavoritefavorite," Lohan says. "Even down to Hallie's Hard Candy nail polish; that was such a big thing then." She also citesConfessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, where she got to be involved with the costume design, and of course the iconic looks fromMean Girls. WithFreaky FridaysequelFreakier Fridayhitting theaters in August, she also indulges in some nostalgia for the fashion of her character Anna: "I remember I was like, 'I want her to be like Avril Lavigne!' [Director] Mark Waters was like, 'Why Avril Lavigne?' I'm like, 'Because she's a teenager withangst.'" Lohan has still hung onto much of her wardrobe from that time in her life, though that doesn't mean she's going to revisit every single fashion moment. "You have your favorite things you never want to get rid of, and you hoard them. Will I wear low-rise jeans? Will I do it?I don't know. I look back at pictures and I'm like, 'I think I'm good.'" As for the beauty moment she's unlikely to revisit, "I don't think I would ever put those blonde streaks in my hair again. Just because I know it will damage my hair." One throwback moment she's more enthusiastic about is her '80s turn in the new campaign. "It was a really nice vibe and energy on set, and everyone was laughing and having fun," Lohan says. "That's kind of the best, when work doesn't really feel like work—and you're getting a workout in." Tony Wilson, Derringer's longtime caretaker and friend, announced his death in Ormond Beach, Fla., in a TuesdayFacebook postthat read, "Legendary musician/entertainer Rick Derringer Received His Wings And Passed On This Memorial Day." Wilson noted that Derringer "passed on at 8:09 PM on May 26th, surrounded by his loving wife, Singer Songwriter, and band of 28 years Jenda Derringer, [and] his caretaker and close friend Tony Wilson." No cause of death was given. Born Richard Dean Zehringer on Aug. 5, 1947, Derringer was the son of an Ohio railroad foreman and first formed his influential band, the McCoys, while still in eighth grade. FITBIT (24A: Step-counting gadget) The step-counting FITBIT is an example of wearable tech. I used to have a FITBIT. In fact, I've had two different FITBITs, and both of them broke. Here's a picture of Willow living on the edge – the edge of the SOFA (53A: Piece of furniture in a den), that is. ROMAN (28D: Like the numeral MMXXV) In case your ROMAN numeral knowledge is a bit rusty, MMXXV is, appropriately, 2025. ALDI (31D: Germany-based grocery chain) Here's a fun fact: Headquartered in Germany, ALDI is actually the name of two supermarket chains, ALDI Nord and ALDI Süd. Although the two ALDI chains appear as a single enterprise, and they have contractual agreements with each other, they are owned and operated independently. It is ALDI Süd that operates in the United States. ETTA (39D: "At Last" singer James) ETTA James (1938-2012) is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Blues Hall of Fame, and the Grammy Hall of Fame. She recorded "At Last" in 1960 as the title track for her debut album. Her recording of the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999. TEAS (58D: Oolong and hojicha) Oolong is a TEA made from semi-oxidized TEA leaves, and can be made from a variety of TEA plant cultivars. Oolong is similar to black TEA. Hojicha is a roasted Japanese green TEA. The roasting process results in a TEA with a nutty, toasty, sweet flavor with little to no bitterness. SIRE (61D: "Your majesty") It's true, SIRE is an equivalent form of address to "your majesty." Years ago when my daughter was in high school, she instructed my iPhone to refer to me as "your majesty." To this day (over 11 years and several iPhones later), my phone still addresses me as "your majesty," and if I ask it, "Who is your majesty?" it will show me a picture of myself. I'm not tech-savvy enough to undo this, and honestly, why would I want to? A couple of other clues I especially enjoyed: OUT (23A: Call in baseball and tennis) TUNES (71A: Twists the pegs on an ukulele) FIND MY IPHONE (20A: App that locates lost Apple devices) MAID IN MANHATTAN (40A: Jennifer Lopez rom-com set in a New York hotel) HIT AND MISS (56A: Unreliably successful) MIND-BLOWING: Each theme answer contains an anagram of the word MIND: FIND MY IPHONE, MAID IN MANHATTAN, and HIT AND MISS. The word "BLOWING" in the title is a hint to solvers that today's theme is a hidden anagram theme. In each theme answer the word MIND is blown (in a way) and reconstructed with a different letter order. We have the MIND anagrams IND/M, D/IN/M, and ND/MI. Thank you, Lynn, for this MIND-BLOWING puzzle. Miley Cyrus Debuts New Album ‘Something Beautiful’ With Surprise Performance at Fan-Only TikTok Event in Los Angeles

Miley Cyrus Debuts New Album 'Something Beautiful' With Surprise Performance at Fan-Only TikTok Event in Los AngelesNew Foto - Miley Cyrus Debuts New Album 'Something Beautiful' With Surprise Performance at Fan-Only TikTok Event in Los Angeles

Miley Cyrus took a momentduring TikTok's fan-only listening event for her new album "Something Beautiful" to give the 100-person audience a heads up: "My next album is about to be extremely experimental, so have fun with that," she said. "'Something Beautiful' is just the appetizer." By that point, the room had already heard the album in full, as Cyrus had chosen Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont to preview her ninth record (out Friday) for fans that were lucky enough to secure an invite through social media. But what they didn't expect was a surprise performance from Cyrus, who appeared after album playback to debut a handful of songs from the project as well as a few fan favorites, including an impromptu rendition of her earlier hit "The Climb." More from Variety Miley Cyrus Unveils Official Trailer for 'Something Beautiful,' Her New Visual Album Why Harrison Ford Urged Miley Cyrus to Avoid Filming 'Something Beautiful' in a Forest Miley Cyrus Reveals 'Something Beautiful' Track List, Featuring Naomi Campbell and Brittany Howard The evening, in partnership between TikTok and Cyrus, was certainly for fans, as she consistently acknowledged how intricately they knew every adlib and key change. Dressed in archival Mugler, she took the makeshift stage at the front of the room — which also counted actress Anya Taylor-Joy in the audience — and began with "More to Lose," the sweeping ballad that she previously released as a single. "I've been experimenting with this album for the past year or two by having these nights at Chateau, they were invite-only, super exclusive, just my closest friends and my family," she said at the beginning of the set. "This was the way that I kind of discovered the album, because if it can't stand up with me and Michael Pollack on the piano, who I wrote these songs with, [Jonathan] Rado on the guitar, and Maxx Morando on the drums, then what are we even doing?… So making the album and fully realizing it all and watching it become this butterfly and have this metamorphosis, this evolution, it's so reflective of my life and everything that I'm experiencing and I pour that into the production. But at the heart of this album, it's still been us, really. It's been us three in a room making this album for the past couple of years." She continued with a makeshift cover of "The Climb" that Pollack — who previously worked with Cyrus on "Flowers" and others, including Beyoncé and Justin Bieber — knew how to play, much to Cyrus' surprise. She then concluded with "End of the World," describing how she wrote it in the very room she was standing. "That song was written in this room," she said. "It totally changed and morphed just from being right here in this place under the ceiling, and this place has so many memories for me that I'm not going to tell you about. You'll think differently of me. But all jokes aside, I just want to thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all your support over all this time and on this album. It's totally a devotion and dedication to the ride that we've been on together, and I look forward to it continuing to places we couldn't even imagine." There was one last surprise in store for the evening as an attendee stood up just as she finished addressing the crowd to propose to his boyfriend. "Go get a room! Put it on my bill. If you want a bed, I'll charge it to my card," she said as the room erupted. "Something Beautiful" arrives this Friday, followed by its visual film on June 6. Chloe Fineman says they 'begged Dana Carvey' to do "SNL" Jennifer Coolidge impression

John Nacion/Variety via Getty; Paul Morigi/Getty; Emma McIntyre/Getty Chloe Finemanhas explained how that amazingtripleJennifer Coolidgeimpression — Fineman,Dana Carvey, and hostAriana Grande— landed onSaturday Night Live. "I didn't even think we were gonna do that sketch and then Ariana really wanted to do Jennifer Coolidge," Fineman explains on Wednesday's episode ofThe Jennifer Hudson Show. "And then we begged Dana Carvey, and he's like, Yeah, I'll do it.' And we all have a very different impression, and it's magic." The October 2024 sketch that resulted shows the three impersonatingThe White Lotusstar in a parody of an ad for Maybelline — specifically a Maybelline longwear liquid lip product, or something like that, that goes on like a dream. Grande appears as Fineman's reflection in the mirror, as both are draped in fluffy pink robes and beneath a pile of blonde hair. Near the end,SNLlegend Carvey, who was part of the cast from 1986 to 1993, popped up as a third Coolidge. See the full sketch below. It ends with all three putting the lip product — they finally settle on the name "lip lasting long, long lip color, ultimate plumper gloss-colored liquid lip color" — on each other. Carvey revealed just after the sketch aired that he'd taken on the part at the last minute. "They threw it at me Thursday night," theWayne's Worldstar told cohostDavid Spadeon theirSuperflypodcast, a spinoff series of their popular seriesFly on the Wall."They explained to me that the character was like a Snow White thing, that my Jennifer Coolidge had been trapped in the mirror for 100 years." Carvey noted that "it was kind of an acid-y, esoteric sketch. I still don't quite understand it, but that was fun." He also noted that, between dress rehearsal and the live show, the sketch had been trimmed. "One was we eat corn," Carvey said on the podcast. "It was a lot wilder, it was amazing. It was a non sequitur like, 'Hey. Wow. Let's eat some corn.' They suddenly have corn. 'Can I have your corn?'" During her own interview, Fineman said she has a new obsession. "I'm really intoGabby Windeyright now." Fineman said. She suspects the formerBachelorettestar is "our next Jennifer Coolidge." Kevin Costner sued by stunt performer over alleged “Horizon 2” unscripted rape scene

Kevin Costner sued by stunt performer over alleged "Horizon 2" unscripted rape scene

Warner Bros. /Courtesy Everett Collection Kevin Costner, the production companies behind his four-partHorizon: An American Sagafilm series, and 10 additional, unnamed individuals involved in producingHorizon Chapter 2have been sued by a stunt performer for alleged sexual harassment, discrimination, creating a hostile work environment, and more. Stunt performer Devyn LaBella filed the suit on Tuesday in California Superior Court. The complaint, obtained byEntertainment Weekly, alleges that Labella, who was hired as a stunt double for star Ella Hunt, became subject on May 2, 2023, to a "violent unscripted, unscheduled rape scene directed by Kevin Costner." TheBodyguardstar not only acts in the first twoHorizonfilms, but also directed, co-wrote, and co-produced them. This "impromptu work demand," according to the complaint, violated provisions in both LaBella's SAG-AFTRA contract that prohibit last-minute requests for nudity or simulated sex, as well as in Hunt's contract, which requires the presence of an intimacy coordinator for all such scenes. As a third-party beneficiary to Hunt's contract, the complaint alleges the provision extends to LaBella. "On that day, I was left exposed, unprotected, and deeply betrayed by a system that promised safety and professionalism. What happened to me shattered my trust and forever changed how I move through this industry," LaBella wrote in a statement shared with EW. "This experience has ignited in me a lifelong mission to be the advocate I once needed, ensuring no one else is ever left as vulnerable as I was." James A. Vagnini, LaBella's attorney, noted in a statement shared with EW that Tuesday's suit was "filed not only for the damages Plaintiff has sustained, but to address the continued failures at the highest levels of Hollywood production companies to comprehend and address the impacts of performing in sexually explicit and violent 'scenes' and the need for intimacy coordination." Costner's attorney, Martin D. Singer, responded to the suit in a statement shared with EW by insisting Costner "always wants to make sure that everyone is comfortable working on his films and takes safety on set very seriously. However, this claim by Devyn LaBella has absolutely no merit, and it is completely contradicted by her own actions — and the facts." Singer's statement refers to LaBella as "a serial accuser of people in the entertainment industry [who] has worked with the same lawyer on past claims" and claims that "the facts are clear and we are beyond confident that Kevin will prevail." Randy Shropshire/Getty In addition to sexual discrimination, sexual harassment, and the creation of a hostile work environment, LaBella's suit alleges an additional sexual harassment claim, failure to remedy or prevent harassment and discrimination, retaliation in violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act, interference with the exercise of LaBella's civil rights, infliction of emotional distress, and breach of contract. LaBella and her attorneys are asking for a jury trial. Want more movie news? Sign up forEntertainment Weekly's free newsletterto get the latest trailers, celebrity interviews, film reviews, and more. Costner and the production companies behindHorizonare facing a separate arbitration claim alleging breaches to a deal, which wasfiled earlier this monthby New Line Cinema. The production company that co-financed the series with Horizon Series, Costner's loan-out company, is demanding repayment after City National Bank initiated arbitration proceedings. Costner hasspent upwards of $38 millionof his own money financing the series, which cost a reported$100 milliontotal to produce, and has so fargrossedroughly $38 million globally. Why Joshua Jackson Says It Was 'Really Stupid' to Bring Daughter Juno, 5, on "Karate Kid: Legends" Set (Exclusive)

Arturo Holmes/WireImage Joshua Jacksondid something not so legendary while working onKarate Kid: Legends. PEOPLE caught up with the actor, 46, at the film's premiere on Tuesday, May 27, during which he discussed bringing his 5-year-old daughter,Juno, whom he shares withJodie Turner-Smith, on set. The actor said that bringing the toddler to watch him film the project turned out to be a "really stupid thing" to do. "She came out to visit Montreal for five, six days because my brother lives up there, it was a family trip and I brought her on set the day that we were doing the fight scene," he says. Jodie Turner-Smith/ Instagram "That was really dumb," he explains. "She did not like seeing her dad get beat up. So I don't think I'll watch it with her in the theatrical run, but within a couple years I think we'll be okay." Jackson says that he believes "that was the first time I'd ever brought her to work." While things might not have worked out as planned, the proud dad says that they already have some plans for summer. "She graduates from school or from [Transitional Kindergarten] TK in a couple of weeks, and then we got some summer camp and we'll figure it out after that," he says. Karate Kid: Legendsfinds Jackson playing Victor, a former boxing champ and pizzeria owner. To play the role,Jackson told theTodayshow that he gained 20 lbs. "I walk around at 175. TheStewartofNY/Getty He reiterated the same sentiments while speaking to PEOPLE, noting that the most challenging part of filming the movie was the eating. "I had to eat so much food to put on all that weight and it seems like that should be easy and fun, but turns out it's not," says Turner. Twisted contortionist kicks off "America's Got Talent" season 20: 'Never seen that in my life ever' Simon Cowell says

Trae Patton/NBC America's Got TalentjudgeSimon Cowellhas seen it all, or so you would think. Having judged contestants not only on the NBC series but also on shows such asAmerican Idol,The X Factor, and their various international versions, it takes a lot to shock him. But even Cowell was floored Tuesday on the premiere's ofAGT's 20th season when Amadou Diallo took the stage. The 20-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, who's originally from Guinea, bent his body in astonishing ways, even popping his ribs and other body parts out of place. He sometimes had the judges feel a certain spot precisely when it was happening. Cindy Ord/NBC "I genuinely have never seen that in my life, ever," Cowell said. "I love the look on your face. It was like:This is just normal. Everyone is gonna be talking about this when they see it. I promise you." His fellow judges were just as stunned as he was. "I don't think anybody has ever seen anything like that before in their entire lives,"Mel Breplied to Cowell. "That was un-freaking-believeable!" JudgesSofia VergaraandHowie Mandelwere also amazed. "I am in shock," Vergara added. "I mean, we've seen a lot of contortionism on this show, but he took it to another level." The contestant's local newspaper,The Columbus Dispatch, reported that he put in a lot of hard work to perfect his act. Since arriving in the U.S. a year ago, he worked two jobs, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. five days a week, then squeezed in rehearsals afterward. It paid off, as he received four yes votes to remain in the competition. And he wasn't the only contestant to drop jaws. Two acts received a Golden Buzzer, which sends them directly to the live shows later in the season. On an episode in which the judges saw acts including aerialists on roller skates, a David Blaine-inspired magician, and a pickle-juice guzzler (don't ask), Mandel awarded his to a singer: Jourdan Blue, a 23-year-old busker in New Orleans. Blue's take on The Script's hit "Breakeven" was a judges' favorite — and the audience was smitten with it too. "I mean, I'm in love with you," Vergara said. "The hair, the voice, your energy. You're a rock star!" Sign up forEntertainment Weekly's free daily newsletterto get breaking TV news, exclusive first looks, recaps, reviews, interviews with your favorite stars, and more. Mel B noted that the performance made her feel like she was hearing the song for the first time. Before hitting the buzzer, Mandel said, "You know, this is season 20. I've seen dreams come true right where you're standing. Lives changed right where you're standing. And that stage and that moment can take you anywhere. And this is just the beginning of where you can go." LightWire, a Brazilian act that creates immersive art was Cowell's pick for the honor. The entire space was stunned by the illusion of water gushing and animals moving toward the audience. "Wow, wow, wow," Cowell exclaimed. "You know what? You never, ever, ever know when you're doing a new year, whether you're gonna see something better than you've seen before, and I'm not just saying this, this was one of the most beautiful, stunning acts." America's Got Talentairs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock. Read the original article onEntertainment Weekly

"Country music has been an important part of AMA history," Shaboozey begins, adding, "The very first year of this show, the award for Favorite Male Country Artist went to the great Charley Pride." Pride, who died in 2020, is considered to be the country genre's first Black superstar. "That same year, Favorite Female Artist went to Lynn Anderson. And this award went to the Carter family, who basically invented country music," Moroney then reads off the teleprompter. Shaboozey can then be seen giving what looks like a side-eye, and scrunching up his face in apparent confusion at the comment before laughing and moving on. Francis Specker/CBS via Getty On Tuesday, the "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" singer seemed to allude to the moment, which promptly went viral. "When you uncover the true history of country music, you find a story so powerful that it cannot be erased…" heposted on X, likely referring to the influence Black artists have historically had in country music — including on the Carters. In a subsequent post an hour later, he added, "The real history of country music is about people coming together despite their differences, and embracing and celebrating the things that make us alike." Per the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Carters — meaning A. P. Carter, Sara Dougherty Carter, and Maybelle Addington Carter — are considered "the first family of country music." As the Hall of Fame notes, the group was heavily influenced by Black musician Lesley Riddle, who helped A.P. with songs and taught Maybelle his guitar style. The influence of Black musicians on the country genre has become a more widely discussed topic in the industry in recent years. In the wake of Ken Burns' 2019 documentary series,Country Music,TIME perhaps put the issue best in a pieceaptly titled "Black Artists Helped Build Country Music—And Then It Left Them Behind." "One of the series' central tenets is that country music has always been home to African-American artists," the outlet writes of Burns' docuseries. "Burns shows that, just like in rock, jazz and pop, every facet of country — from its instrumentation to repertoire to vocal and instrumental techniques — is indebted to African and African-American traditions, but commercial decisions by white industry executives led to their exclusion from the genre for decades." Jerry Trainor went all out in the audition for his breakout role of Crazy Steve on the Nickelodeon classic "Drake and Josh." During a discussion atGalaxyCon, Trainor explained how he landed the role of Crazy Steve, an aggressively temperamental movie theater employee who would explode on fellow cast members Drake Bell and Josh Peck at the slightest inconvenience. Somebody else was already cast as Crazy Steve," Trainor explained. "But I guess when he got to the set, he was not crazy enough for them, and so they fired him." Trainor was brought in for a "rush audition," which meant the "Drake and Josh" casting directors needed to fill the role ASAP. He said of his acting experience at the time, "You have to understand, I had just gotten out of college, majoring in theater, where they're telling me to like, tone it down, bring it in, drop it in. Subtext, subtext, subtext." At the audition, Trainor said he first played the character as "calm, and then I fly off the handle." However, the casting director wanted more and said to him, "'Oh my God, can you go bigger?'" Trainor obliged. "And so then I did it, like, crazier, and she goes, 'Can you go crazier?' And I went, 'Let me stop you right there. I can go nuclear,'" Trainor said. "'What do you want?' She was like, 'As big as possible.' And I'm like, 'You don't want that.' And she goes, 'Literally, that's what we need.' And I was like, 'OK, here it is.' And I did it. The rest is history." Trainor first appeared as Crazy Steve in "Drake and Josh" Season 2, and went on to appear in eight total episodes. He also played the eccentric brother of internet superstar Carly Shay in another Nickelodeon staple, "iCarly." That show ran for 93 episodes across six seasons from 2007-2012. Diddy's ex-employee says music executive warned her 'to leave Puff alone'

Diddy's ex-employee says music executive warned her 'to leave Puff alone'New Foto - Diddy's ex-employee says music executive warned her 'to leave Puff alone'

During an at times emotionalday of testimony, a former employee ofSean "Diddy" Combsopened up about the former hip-hop icon's alleged retaliation that prevented her from employment in the music industry. On May 27, Capricorn Clark – a personal assistant who worked in various other roles for Combs and his businesses from 2004 to 2012, then again in 2016 – testified about the threats and violence she'd witnessed from him over the years. While on the stand, she also described having a hard time finding a job after she was fired over an issue related to vacation time – a move she insinuated was related to telling Bad Boy Records PresidentHarve Pierreabout Combs allegedly kidnapping her to threaten Kid Cudi over his relationship withCassie Ventura Fine. As she sought a new job, Clark told the court, Combs tried to blackball her. She alleged that she met withJimmy Iovinefor what she thought was a job opportunity, but the co-founder of Interscope Records and Beats Electronics, among others, gave her a warning on Combs' behalf. "They were there to tell me to leave Puff alone and that this wasn't going to end well for me," Clark said. The judge then sustained an objection from the prosecution. USA TODAY has reached out to Interscope Records for comment from Iovine, who stepped down from his leadership role in 2014. Clark then said she was looking for work until she got pregnant in 2015, but she couldn't get a job. "I wanted people to see I was a valuable person. I wasn't disposable. In this business, he held all the power over me," Clark said, sobbing. During a tense cross-examination from Combs' team, lawyer Marc Agnofilo attempted to cast doubt on the accuracy and direness of Clark's allegations in the eyes of the jury. He showed communications from Clark starting in 2014, in which she appeared to be making nice with Combs. As Agnifolo brought up exchanges in which Clark mentioned "dope chemistry" and having the "biggest crush" on Combs before she worked for him, she denied remembering the message. Several celebrities have beenname-dropped during Combs' trialso far, with many being passing references with no actual relation to the allegations against the mogul. Such was the case, for example, with Barack Obama; Combs' former assistant at one point mentioned a pill shaped like the former president. Margot Robbie shows off her new LuckyChap Entertainment office space toArchitectural Digeston May 27 and it turns out she kept furniture from theBarbiemovie The actress and her interior designer Scarlett Hessian walked through the freshly designed office as they talked about the inspiration behind each room In the "central hub" Robbie said the now-assistants' desk chairs was used by Will Ferrell and his Mattel execs Take a sneak peak insideMargot Robbie's office! TheBarbieactress, 34, gaveArchitectural Digesta behind-the-scenes tour of her production company LuckyChap Entertainment's office space in Los Angeles on May 27. In the center hallway space that's used as a "central hub" for production employees, Robbie gave a stealthy nod to her role in the billion-dollar blockbuster film. "The chairs are actually in theBarbiemovie when you're in the Mattel CEO office, and all the Mattel guys are sitting around on the pink chairs," the three-time Oscar nominee said during the office tour. The chairs from Mattel's headquarters were bright pink in the film that were used byWill Ferrelland his fellow "Mattel execs" for their boardroom meetings. Following the film, Robbie worked with London-based interior designer Scarlett Hessian from Studio Hessian to transform the $3,195Saarinen armchairsinto something a little more conducive to the space. "We just had them reupholstered, because at the end of the movie — I mean, they were quite expensive, actually — I was like, 'Wait, what's going to happen to these chairs?' " With the chair's new rusty orange offset checkered fabric, they fit rather nicely with the mid-century modern-inspired workspace. Warner Bros. "Scarlett obviously was a genius about utilizing a very strange shape and I love it now," Robbie said about working with the designer. The back wall behind the built-in desk is draped with dusty pink curtains concealing whiteboards — perhaps an additional nod to her Mattel character. Other fun elements of Robbie's personal office include a standing lamp with tassels, a golden-base lamp that she purchased in Paris and a large plush white couch. Jaap Buitendijk/Warner Bros. "We kind of like hide them amongst the books and it's a humble brag that way, I guess," Robbie said. Robbie's next movie,A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, opens on Sept. 19.
